Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!! Christmas was really fun, but nerve wracking too. I was so nervous about the baby coming on Christmas Eve, and the girls having to go to a friends house. But this baby is already obedient and stayed in past Christmas :) The girls have been so excited for Christmas to come. Reagan came in every morning saying, "Mom 4 days til Christmas, Mom 3 days til Christmas etc." I love the Christmas magic, because I know as they get older it will probably wear off, but Reagan and Alice were both into Santa this year. There wasn't a doubt in their mind that Santa wasn't real. We left cookies out for him and everything. We went to a friends house for Christmas Eve dinner, and of course we were too busy eating to take pictures :) But it was fun! We then went home and went to open 1 present. I usually do the normal PJ's, but the girls have plenty of them so I decided to do robes. The girls loved them! They woke up in the morning around 6:00 and were ready to go. Here is the montage of Christmas pictures!

So here is classic Alice :) Her shirt was all dirty but she only wanted to wear her Christmas shirt, hence no shirt til it was out of the dryer. They crazy eyes look, well that is just all her!

Alice had been wanting a pillow pet for a while. She was excited.
They were so cute. Reagan was saying thank-you for getting me this almost every time she opened something, and Alice would say, this is just what I wanted every time she opened something. I knew that Christmas was going to be fun this year at their age, and I am very grateful that I was able to spend it with them and not in the hospital. We finished off the day with a good Sacrament meeting at church, and then a nice relaxing dinner with some great friends. We hope that everyone had a great Christmas and grateful for the birth of our Savior that we can celebrate this time of year! Hopefully the next post will be on the new arrival of the baby!!!!!

Santa Train

We did our annual Santa Train down in Boulder City! The girls always are so excited to go on the train.

And of course I had to get sick right before the baby comes and Christmas! I have had some awesome friends who have helped me out the last couple of days with the girls. They took them to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa there. This is just a picture of the picture so it's not the best. But Reagan told me that Santa told her he had lots of presents for her. Thanks Santa!

Christmas Time

We are officially in full swing Christmas! We started out with our church Christmas breakfast. It was really good, and the girls had a good time. We ate, decorated cookies, and saw Santa.
This isn't the best one, but hopefully we will get another one!
We then went to Mountains Edge for Snow Day with Emily and Easton. It was really nice weather and the girls would have stayed there all day. This is how we do snow Vegas style! I loved watching them sled, they were so happy.
The kids ready to throw snowballs at me :)
Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had an awesome Thanksgiving this year. We did our annual dinner with the Rogers, but this year we were lucky to have Emily's parents join us from Oregon! It was a great time. So great that I did not take 1 picture! But just know the food and company was delish. I tried to stay up and do Black Friday Shopping but it just didn't happen. I was lucky to get a lot of the deals online and the next day at a normal hour so it all worked out.
After Thanksgiving, we headed down to Southern California to see John and Stephanie and the boys. We don't get to see them too much, so we had to take advantage of it when they were down in Cali! We spent most of the time at the beach and had a blast. The water wasn't too bad, but still pretty chilly. I couldn't believe that the kids were in their without wetsuits. Reagan LOVED it! I couldn't believe how good of a boogie boarder she was. Again I forgot my camera, but Steph sent me these great pictures! It was so fun to see them and enjoy a relaxing little getaway!
The boys boogie boarding.
This might be my favorite!
Reagan had such a good time, she asked if we could go home and pack our stuff up and move there!

Halloween 2011

Halloween was really fun this year, but I am not going to to lie I am glad that it is over. We dressed up so many times I was done with it! But the girls are at such a fun age to do holidays with. After the school trunk R treat we were invited to a friends Halloween party, went to a pumpkin patch, the church trunk r treat, a pumpkin carving party, and then actual Halloween! Needless to say we had plenty of candy and fun.
The girls got to ride horses at the pumpkin patch.
Then onto one of the parties. They did the doughnut eating and it was hilarious. I could post a million pictures. But these were a couple of of my favorites.
This one just makes me laugh, because Reagan looks like she is either kissing or biting Easton's ear.
Here we are at the pumpkin carving party. Nick was concentrating on the design and Reagan loved getting all the guts out.
Alice wouldn't eat one of the jello worms.

We didn't actually take any pictures on Halloween. We had a great time. Alice was running from house to house not even scared one bit. I swear she was at least 1/4 mile in front of us. The girls were tuckered out and fell asleep on the way home. They were happy when they woke up and the Halloween fairy left them a couple of pieces of candy and new pjs for Alice and a new dress and socks for Reagan! Now to get ready for Thanksgiving!

Trunk R Treat

Reagan was so excited to go to her school Trunk R Treat. This was her first school function and she has been counting down the days. It was a good thing for us to do to kick off the Halloween season! Her and Alice decided to be witches for Halloween. I need to get better at the face paint before Halloween! I told them to give me their best witch face. Alice points her finger and goes "Wa Ha Ha."

I've been lazy!

That is my excuse! I havent' blogged in a while because I am too lazy to take my camera out and take pictures. Then Reagan started soccer so I thought I can blog about that. I got my camera out and only got to take a couple of pictures before my battery died! Reagan is liking soccer and having a good time. I will take some more at her next game.

First Day Of Kindergarten!

I can't believe that Reagan is old enough to go to school! She has been asking how much longer for about the past 2 weeks. I have been trying to not think too much about it b/c it will make so so sad. It's only half day so I know it won't be that big of deal, and I know she will love it! Well she woke up all ready to go. She picked out her own outfit, did her hair, and had her backpack on at 8. School doesn't start until 8:50 mind you. Well she had her breakfast, took some pictures, and we were off. She was so excited, going ahead of us, and could care less that we were there. Nick reminded me this was a good thing. I didn't cry at the class, just before we left and said our morning prayers. She is such good little girl, and I know she is going to do great!
We had her write her name, and we are going to compare it each year. Should have done it in marker! Nick asked me if I was going to make her do it until high school. I said probably just 5th grade!
I am so glad that she is in class with Easton. They have been best buds since they were born. We are so lucky to live so close to them!!!!
Lining up for the classroom. Alice thought she was going too.
She was a little hot waiting to go inside. It was only 110 today!
