Favorite Shows

I have 2 favorite shows- Glee and Modern Family. I love them both for different reasons. Let's start with Modern Family. It's the best new show. I laugh every week, and I see so much of Nick and me in Phil and Claire. Seriously I have been laughing so hard I cry when I watch it. I mean the whole coupons for presents, we have been there. If you know us well you know what I am talking about! It is just so funny I LOVE it!!!

Then there is Glee. If you don't like Glee I don't know what is wrong with you. I love musicals; anything with singing and dancing I pretty much love it! Brittany is one of my favorites but she sealed the deal with " Dolphins are just gay sharks" I can't wait to see what comes out of her mouth each week. It is seriously the best. I love it too, because Reagan loves Glee. She asks to watch the songs, and asks for them for her bedtime song. She loved the episodes a couple of weeks ago with Daddy Please Don't, and Turn Around. However this week with Lady Gaga, I think she might have a new favorite. If you are not watching these 2 shows I don't know if we can still remain friends. If you haven't checked them out, you NEED to.

Graham Girls Birthday!

When I had Alice so close to Reagan's birthday I thought this is going to be great! They can share all the same clothes, blankets, etc. I didn't think that I would be throwing 2 birthday parties 2 weeks apart! Well since Alice is still little and only has a couple of friends her age, we decided to throw a Graham Girl Birthday Party. I figure I won't get away with this for very long. Soon Reagan will want her own, so I thought I would do it while I could get away with it! I seriously can't believe that Reagan is 4. Here is some stuff about her: She loves all things princess, dancing, eating cheese and any fruit. She loves playing with Alice and loves going swimming or to the splash park with her friends. She loves watching the songs of Glee and dancing around and singing to them. She absolutely loves to help me cook anything and everything, especially cracking the eggs and stirring. She still sucks her thumb. Her favorite color goes between pink and purple. She could draw and color all day long in a dress up if you would let her. She is a funny girl who knows what she wants and we love her!
Then there is our little Alice. Alice loves cheese and any fruit as well. She loves all things Diego, and loves to climb. She likes to color on Reagan's pictures, and she too loves the splash park and pool. She will play outside all day if you let her. She loves to dance and act silly. She is a talker and says 4 and 5 word sentences. She can consistently count to 3 sometimes 4 or 5. She loves to write with crayons, pencils, anything that writes on the walls. She sucks her thumb too. She loves to do anything Reagan is doing. If she talks to you on the phone she always has to give you a kiss goodbye. She is a funny little girl and we love her too!
So we just had a low key party with a pinata and cake. Reagan wanted Belle, Alice Diego. Reagan wanted to wear a princess dress up so I said go for it. Thanks for everyone who came. Reagan and Alice have some great friends.
Pinata Fun
I had all intentions of making a fancy cake, but this is what we ended up with. Maybe next year we will have time to go all out :)

Can't believe she's 2!!!
And she's 4!

Summertime Already??

I think summer is almost here. Here is my evidence.
I am already getting hot!
On another note. I have been reading on a bunch of blogs about refinishing furniture, and really wanted to try and re-do something. I was too scared to try some of our actual furniture, so I found this in a parking lot and tried my hand at it. I was pretty happy with the outcome. Now I want to go find some more of people's "trash".

So Cal Trip

We ended up going down to Southern California the Friday we got back after Texas. Nick was able to run the SoCal Ragnar race. He only had about 2 days notice, since one of the team members backed out. I was so proud of him for running 19 miles with training about 2 days before hand! I was able to go hang out with our good friends the Bringhursts while he ran. I had a great time with them! And thanks for letting us come down last minute too. The kids had a great time playing together too, which is always a bonus. It was Alice's first time at the beach. It was pretty cool out so we didn't get in the water, except for our feet. Alice was apprehensive about at first but then she loved it!

Too many kids in the tub!
All the hooded kiddos.
