Merry Christmas

Well we have been busy doing all of the Christmas parties and festivities. We went down to Boulder City with a bunch of friends to ride the Santa Train. I didn't get many pictures. But here is Alice waiting in line.
The kids goofing off on the train. I just love how happy they are in this picture.
We also went to another playgroup party.
Reagan brought one of her besties.
Then since we are going to Oregon over Christmas, they wore their "Christmas" outfits for Sunday. This is proof that their hair is done before we leave the house :)
My cheesers
I just had to share this too. Reagan really likes to watch Ni Hao Kai Lan, so the other day she came in and said, "Mom I know how to say Merry Christmas in Chinese." I obviously thought it was from the show til she said Happy Holidays! I about died laughing. I have no idea where she got that from but she is pretty funny.

Christmas Ornaments

We all have those special Christmas ornaments on our tree that make us smile, and bring back great memories. We started this year getting the girls Christmas ornaments. This way when they grow up and get married they will have some for their own tree. So these are the 2 that we got the girls-simple and nice.

Then there is Nick's first Christmas ornament. We always put it up high so it can't get broken. I love it because it is such a classic one.

Then there is the best ornament on the tree. My ornament from 1985. These photos do not give near the awesomeness and appreciation it should deserve but it is the best I can do of a picture of a picture. I showed my dear friend Emily, this and I think she about peed her pants laughing so hard at. I just want to know if you know any other 4 year old that has nearly as awesome hair as I did. I know it is hard to see in this picture where the darkness of the wall and my hair end, but let me tell you my hair is several inches high. Mom, don't even try to justify it, I mean I know it was the 80's, but still. Then Emily is so kind to say, "What's up with you shirt?" For the record, I am digging the shirt.

I think I am pretty styling in the 80's. So the next time you come over, make sure to see this ornament in person so you can really appreciate it.
