Say Cheese!

So my cool sister in law, Stephanie, inspired me to get a picture of Reagan smiling. She caught a picture of Jackson smiling, and it is the CUTEST picture I have ever seen. Every time I look at it, it just makes me smile. OK so anyway... Reagan was playing outside today and I thought she seems in a good mood I am going to try and get a picture of her smiling. So I say smile, say cheese, all the usuals and this is what I got...

Aren't they the most flattering pictures of Reagan you have ever seen. I was dying laughing at her. All she would do is the scrunchy face and get really close to the camera. She almost isn't a snaggletooth anymore! I just had to share this with everyone. I can't figure out which one if my favorite.

A Busy Week

Well we had a very busy week. My nephew, Brady, and my mom, came down and stayed for the week with us! His mom and dad went to Hawaii and we watched the little guy. It was a fun and busy week. We went to the water park,
we went swimming, I love this picture of Emmery feeding Reagan, she is my little birdie. Then on Saturday I ran my first 5K since having Reagan. It was the of for the Candlelighter's group (Children in Las Vegaas with Cancer). I did ok, not as good as I had hoped, but I am doing another one in October, with Emily. Emily, I wrote this so we have to!

That is me waving to Nick, Reagan, Emily, and Easton. Thanks for coming and supporting me.
Then that night Nick and I went on a date to Phantom of the Opera! One of the ladies that he works with gave us free tickets. I was figuring we would probably be way up in the balcony section in front of a pillar of something, since she got them from her son who works there. I didn't care, they were free! To my surprise, we were in the 17th row! They were amazing seats. It was a really neat show. All of the pyrotechnics, the singing, everything was great. It was a great week!

LA Galaxy

This past weekend we went with our friends, Todd and Angie, to a LA Galaxy game and to the beach. It was a well deserved weekend of rest and relaxation. Besides the fact that all the roads and highways we wanted to take were closed we got there late Friday night. Then we got up and went to the beach. It was such nice weather. It was great. Todd and Nick boogie boarded and Angie and I basked in the sun, and the kids enjoyed the swings. Reagan still didn't like the sand, but she didn't mind the water as much.
Then we went back to the house, watched the Ducks kick Michigan's butt! Go DUCKS! The kids slept, and then we headed to the soccer game. So we wanted to go to see Beckham, but he was hurt, but it still was fun and they won 3-1. Ethan and Reagan did so good at the game! Reagan was scared by the fireworks at the beginning of the game, but then she found some boys sitting behind us to flirt with. She was such a good girl. Here are some pictures from the game.

Labor Day Fun

So as many of you read Emily's post, we decided to go to Mt. Charleston for Labor Day, with the rest of Las Vegas. I loved how cool it was up there, probably 40 degrees cooler! However, the weather was not perfect. As we were driving the lighting and thunder started and then the rain. I couldn't believe it. The one day Nick, gets off and we try to do something fun. But like Emily said, the weather cleared and so we were able to have a little picnic. So it turned out to be a good labor day. Here are the pictures. Reagan always pulls out her hair tie so that is why her hair looks so awesome! She also won't let you feed her anymore. She loves her yogurt.

We did it!

So we did it. At first I was very skeptical, but after doing all the research, and test driving cars in 110 degree weather, we are the, well I am a proud owner (Nick not so much) of a mini van! I know it is crazy, we only have 1 kid, but I LOVE IT! I wanted something that we could take Reagan and Maverick in and have plenty of room. We decided to go with the Nissan Quest. I tried to convince Nick that it kind of looks like a cross over, but regardless it is sweet. I figured I wanted this car to last for at least 5 years, and in 5 years, we will hopefully have more kids, and with gas prices so high I didn't want a SUV, so we did it. Here is my new shirt I am going to get.

I think I am winning a couple more points with Nick, he is reading the owners manual, and learning all the cool things about it. I think it is going to take convincing, and maybe after we have more kids he will understand why I wanted it. Here is a picture of it:
