I finally decided not to be lazy anymore and we got out the rice cereal and let Alice have some. She actually did pretty good and ate quite a bit. Reagan never really did get too into it, so I was surprised how much she liked it!

Reagan of course wanted to help feed her.

And then she had to show us that she could eat too.

Then for Family Home Evening we decided to get a pumpkin and carve it. Reagan got to pick it out herself and was very proud of her pumpkin.
Here she is looking for some good guts.

She was excited because she picked out all of the shaped for the eyes and nose.

Alice was pretty mesmerized by the pumpkin too.

Then this morning we were planning on going to the pumpkin patch. It was a disaster from the get-go. I had everything planned out . . . maybe that is where I went wrong.
I had bought a Halloween shirt for Alice to wear and made a matching headband and bow . I also made Reagan a Halloween shirt with this cute iron-on pumpkin logo and a matching Halloween bow. I was so excited that they were going to be matching, cute, and festive for their pictures.
We were a little slow getting going this morning since I was at the Fabulous Friday all night and by the time I finally got Reagan dressed, I realized the shirt I bought Alice was much too big.
So, I got out of storage the Halloween shirt Reagan wore for her first Halloween and put it on Alice. By this time, it was almost 12:00 p.m., everyone was getting hungry, we were supposed to be already done with the pumpkin patch and back home.
I went to grab Reagan who was crouched in the corner crying because she did not want to get her hair done. After I finally I pinned her down and pulled her hair in a pony tail, I told Nick to go put Alice in the car seat and I would get Reagan. When Nick picked up Alice, we saw that she had pooped through her diaper and it was all on her pumpkin onesie.
I was so mad, because that was the last pumpkin outfit I had. I turned around after changing Alice and Reagan had pulled half the pumpkin applique off her shirt and was saying "No Want Pumpkin, No Want Pumpkin."
I could have killed her. So Reagan has half a torn pumpkin on her shirt, Alice has poop all over her and of course I just start to cry. I told Nick I didn't even want to go but he said we were going. So begrudgingly I went and Reagan wore her WT Dora shirt (yeah it lights up) and Alice was in a onesie. So they were supposed to look all cute and festive like this.

Instead she looked like this.

Cute just not festive. I would take a picture of the torn shirt but it might make me cry. So all of you who have cute festive pumpkin patch pictures, I am officially jealous and I hate you!
