Girls Weekend

This past weekend we (Alice and me) went to St. George with a bunch of the law wives from Oregon. We had a blast!!! The weekend basically consisted of shopping, eating, a movie, more eating, and catching up with each other. We had such a good time!!! These girls are the best. Here are some pictures from the weekend (I stole these from Liz's blog)

We brought American Idol, and let's just say it is a night I will never forget!

Alice was such a doll, and you hardly even knew that she was there. She even sat through a whole movie, without making a peep, just a few laughs! A big thanks to Nick for watching Reagan so I could have a girl's weekend, and for letting me take a nap when I got home. You are the best!!!!
This was a great weekend and can't wait to do it again. If anyone wants to come to my house for Thanksgiving you are more than welcome, I am serving nutria.

Valentine's Day and Old School Vegas

Happy Valentine's Day a little late :) We had a great V-day. On Friday we had a little party for the kids at the church. Reagan loved it. Here are some pictures from that.

I just thought these 2 were cute. They both look like they are up to no good :)

I am really big on the safety.

All her Valentine's
Then we swapped with our friends for babysitting, so Nick and I went out on Friday night. We just joined houseseat, (I will have to blog about that one later) basically the short version is you sign up for a year and you can get tickets to random shows. They had some tickets to this magic show called Dixie Dooley, so we thought why not. We went down to the Royal Resort, which is across from Circus Circus. It was pretty entertaining. It felt like we were at a carnival. The stage was this little platform stage, and Dixie was one of those old school magicians whose wife was his assistant. Still it was fun, and I did get to participate. We were seated in the 2nd row and Nick was on the aisle seat, and made me switch with him because he didn't want to get called up. Well I got to look throught the magic crystal ball and see the card that the guy in the row in front of me picked. Pretty much I am a magician. After that we were starving, so in true Valentine's romantic fashion, Nick took me to...the restaurant that the serial killer in his last case ate at everyday. Nick wanted to see if the waitress that waited on him still worked there, but he decided not to :) I know all you women are really jealous! Actaully it was really good. I did feel like a pimp was going to walk out of the back room at anytime during our meal. Here are some pictures of it.

So Happy Valentine's Day and if you need a good place to eat I know a place.

9 Months Old

I had Alice's 9 month check up yesterday. I knew that she was on the smaller side, but I didn't expect this small. Here are her stats:

Weight-17.1 pounds- 10-25%
Height- 25 3/4 inches- 5-10%
Head Circum.- 43.5 cm- 25-50%

So pretty much she is a shortie! They said that she was really healthy though, so that is all the matters!
What she enjoys doing:
crawling all over, especially up the stairs and out the door
mimicking your sound
playing peek-a-boo
eating baby food, puffs, and rice husks
putting everything in her mouth
playing with Reagan
climbing through the tunnel (thanks for letting us borrow it Shannon)
LOVES the bath
Here are the pictures of the little 9 monther.

I asked Reagan if she wanted her picture taken too, she said yes, but wouldn't let me put her hair up. Look at that hair.

Reagan and Her Friend

Here is just a couple of cute pictures of Reagan and her friend Emery at the cactus gardens. They are such good friends! Thanks for the pictures Alison!

On another note. We have taught Reagan who the new President is. She is pretty funny, we were in Wal-Mart and she saw a book and got all excited and said Mom Mom it's President Obama. I was pretty impressed that she recognized him on a book. Then last night we were watching the Duck B-Ball game and when she saw Ernie Kent, she goes look President Obama. So it looks like we still have some work to do :)

Sit Still

Nick was away this weekend, so it was just Reagan, Alice, and myself at church. I was really dreading going by myself, but I thought if my mom could do it with 3 kids, I can do it with 2! Reagan actually did really really good, and so did Alice. After I picked up Reagan from nursery we went out to the car. She handed me the paper that she had colored in there, and it said Heavenly Father and Jesus love me. So on our way home we usually ask her what her teachers talked about, and usually she tells us what snacks she had or toys she played with. It is always fun to here what she says. Well on our way home our conversation went like this:

Me: Reagan what did your teachers tell you today in nursery?
Reagan: They told me to sit down.
(I love kids!) Me: Did you listen?
Reagan: Yeah.

A couple minutes later:
Reagan: Boys hit my head and arm in class, I push them down.
They messed with the wrong girl. Don't worry I told her to tell a teacher not to push.

I love what kids say when you ask them questions. It is priceless! She did then proceed to tell me that Heavenly Father loves Alice, her, and Maverick. So some of the stuff is sticking with her :)
