Winter Break

After Christmas, we packed up and went down to Southern California to go see Nick's brother John and his family. They get to come down every once in a while so we try to jet over to see them! It's always nice to see them and how big the cousins are getting! We had an awesome time. We stopped at this little carousel that the girls loved, and we of course went to the beach. Reagan kept saying she wanted to go boogie boarding. We told her her it was going to be cold, but of course she didn't care. I was afraid Stella would hate the sand, b/c both Reagan and Alice hated it at that age, but she LOVED it! I couldn't believe it. She was crawling all around in it and kept trying to eat it!

I thought this one was so funny of Reagan. It looks like she is praying!

Look at the green grass!!!

The Beach!

Guess it was pretty bright out!

We had a great time and were so glad that we were able to go!!!!

Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We had a great one.The girls were soooo excited for Christmas. Reagan had made Santa and Ms. Clause a present and card, and the reindeer some food for Christmas Eve. It was pretty cute. They went to bed and then Reagan woke up at 3:30 ready for presents. We told her to go back to bed and she did but came in again every 45 min or so asking. It's hard to get mad when they are so excited so at 6:00 we gave in and opened presents. Stella was still asleep til about half way through it. The traditional picture on the stairs!
Reagan has been asking for an American Girl Doll for a while. Since they are pretty $$ I told her she needed to show me she could be responsible to take care of it. So I got her and Alice the small ones to see if she can prove she can take care of one first. They were pretty excited.
I just love Reagan's eyes in this one!

All Alice kept saying she wanted was balloons. When I would keep asking her she would say, "Mom I already told you I want 100 balloons." I really think this pack of balloons was on of her favorites.
Stella pretty much didn't care what was going on. She like the hard plastic that the toys came in :) It was pretty hard to get a picture of her not looking funny.
The aftermath

We had a great year this year and hope everyone did too!
